Halloween Warm-Up

BOOGAHBOOGAHBOOGAH!

GOP creates ad that supports the goals of al Qaeda; boosts bin Laden's profile. In other words, they're trying to terrorize you again. Unfortunately for Republicans, it will just remind people that Bush let bin Laden go free.

The stakes are high. Don't forget to vote.

EYAH-EYAH-EYAH!

Cold medication and sinuses pressing on my brains might have an effect on SwaG! tonight.

Happy Herb

A little Herb Alpert and his Tijuana Brass on this happy day.

Filthy Foley

GrossOldPedophile... You've heard of it by now, the firestorm around the Republican congressman who's hot for boys. Bush's own butt-boy Snow said this morning that they were just a few "naughty emails." Warning: Here are some of the NSFW emails between a 50-something Republican and a young teen.

Anyway, Foley's done. But it's not over. It is obvious that House Republicans decided to ignore Foley's hunt for hot boys because they didn't want to risk losing a single seat. In other words, the party that stopped everything to grandstand around ("save") a woman in a vegetative state didn't care about the likely emotional trauma these kids were put through.

Email from Jack

From here. One year before the invasion, seven months before the authorization, five months before the marketing...

I was sitting yesterday with Karl Rove, Bush's top advisor, at the NCAA basketball game, discussing Israel when this email came in. I showed it to him. It seems that the President was very sad to have to come out negatively regarding Israel, but that they needed to mollify the Arabs for the upcoming war on Iraq. That did not seem to work anyway. Bush seems to love Sharon and Israel, and thinks Arabfat [sic], is nothing but a liar. I thought I'd pass that on.
